Duration: May 2022 – August 2022
Accountabilities
- Analyze protein sequence data to identify and compare molecular target sites Perform molecular docking experiments with active ingredients and protein structures Validate docking models with high-throughput screening data
Education & Experience:
- Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline such as, but not limited to, Biology, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Data Science or other science discipline Prefer a student with a current Junior or Senior standing and 3.5 or higher Fluent in English Must be eligible to work in the United States
Preferred Requirements:
- Eagerness to learn and contribute Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint Strong programming skills in R or Python Communication-The ability to communicate information well both written and spoken is highly desired in this position Collaboration-The ability to work with individuals who come from diverse backgrounds
