Job summary
The Department of Brain Science at Imperial College London is seeking an outstanding and committed research technician to work on the ADVANCE-TBI study of military traumatic brain injury. This study is of global importance to military and civilian casualties who have suffered serious physical trauma.

You will become key members of the neuroscience research staff in the group of Professor David Sharp. It is envisaged that you would have an interest in enrolling for a PhD aligned to the job role, for which full support and supervision would be provided.
Duties and responsibilities
You will become a part of the ADVANCE clinical team and be responsible for organising, piloting and, on occasion, administering of neuropsychological/blood/imaging tests to research participants.

You will form close working relationships with the ADVANCE TBI team at DMRC, Stanford Hall, Nottinghamshire and cross-cover with a colleague at DMRC as needed. You will be supported to curate and analyse study data, to produce scientific outputs from the study.
Essential requirements
- An MSc in Psychology, Neuroscience or equivalent
- Knowledge of neurological / cognitive / psychiatric assessments and methods
- Ability to work flexible hours, occasionally outside office hours, to meet the needs to the study
- Ability to be independent, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively
