Bioinformatics Scientist

Med-Immunology – Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh – (21005833)

Computational Immunogenomics Core is seeking a full-time data Bioinformatics Scientist.

The candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying analytical workflows for multi-omics data from single-cell and ensemble genomics studies.

The candidate will report to the core director and work with interdisciplinary teams to analyze datasets e.g., single-cell and bulk RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, proteomics, etc., using existing methods and develop/ customize existing pipelines.

Bioinformatics scientist will develop and deploy custom algorithms and workflows to aid in data analyses and visualization.

The candidate should be skilled in use of high-performance computing cluster, cloud computing, R, and Python.

The analyst should demonstrate ability to work in team environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Master’s degree (MS) in bioinformatics or a related field of study.
