Does PLS-DA generate an equation that can be reported and used later on in publications?

Hi everyone,

I need to ask about PLS-DA. So, when we perform this kind of analysis to obtain a prediction model from our data to be used later on, do we end up with some kind of formula or equation that can be reported, or is it only to obtain the most important features that aided in the classification of samples and then we apply logistic regression for example?
