Role: Protein Structural Chemist – Bioinformatics
Department: Biofusion Antibody Engineering
Experience: PhD in Bioinformatics, Structural biology, Protein Biochemistry and related fields with at least 3-5 years industrial/academic experience OR Masters (MSC/ MTech) with 8-12 years of relevant industrial experience
Desired skills
Extensive background in computational methods for protein structural analysis
Good understanding of antibody structure and biology required
Experience with virtual docking and interpretation of docked structures considering experimental data and literature information
Scripting ability (e.g., Python, R, Perl) and knowledge of best practices Demonstrated post-PhD experience using structural and computational biology approaches to solve biological challenges is preferred
Experience in structural modeling, de novo prediction, structure visualization and analysis, docking, molecular dynamics, and assessment of structure function relationships
Direct application of molecular dynamics or other computational methods to drug discovery, investigation of conformational changes relevant to the function of antibodies
Exploit machine learning algorithms for improving protein function or predicting sequence liabilities and complex structures.
