Responsibilities
1.Data management of neuroimaging and related data from the ADNI repository.
2.Conducting neuroimaging data preprocessing.
3.Conducting neuroimaging data quality control.
4.Complete process documentation and management.
5.Working with open-source neuroimaging packages such as FSL, ANTs, SPM, FreeSurfer, HPC Workbench.
6.Writing custom processing pipelines within the R and bash computer languages.
7.Conducting non-image data quality control.
8.Working closely with PI and other Co-Investigators.
9.Writes research proposals, grants, and manuscripts; directs preparation of manuscripts and presentation materials.
10.Code management within git.
11.May devise methods for data processing and analysis.
12.May supervise junior research staff.
Work Environment and Level of Frequency typically required
Nearly Continuously: Office environment.
Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required
Nearly Continuously: Sitting, hearing, listening, talking.
Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking.
Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.
Minimum Qualifications
Software development experience in object oriented programming using Java, Python, and or C and familiarity with molecular biology, genomics and some biostatistics helpful.
Master of Science degree or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science and/or Life Sciences preferred.
This position has no responsibility for providing care to patients

Individuals who also have experience with neuroimaging data and neuroimaging data processing.
