Gedmatch results. Pretty surprising, I’m Half Southern Italian and Half Irish. I’ve noticed most people get results similar to 23andMe with more regional detail; my regions/countries have some overlap but mostly completely different countries here : 23andme

You should by using Euro genes. That will likely give you the most accurate results. And the ethnicities you get for your single population sharing results aren’t necessarily going to be ethnicities that you actually are, it’s meant to show which ethnicity you are closest to. For example if someone happened to be half Spanish and half German, their results would likely show that their closest population is French, because it would be genetically “in the middle.” Most people aren’t just one or two ethnicities so it usually isn’t that simple, but you get what I’m trying to say.
