Hi everyone, I am a second year masters student. My masters program is ok but it didn’t go as I planned. However , I am having hard time deciding if I should take up a job offer and it’s an IT job and it is not related to bioinformatics. I am happy with the pay and if I do well and things go well, it will be good in terms of pay rate. However, IT job , it will depend a lot on how well I do it. With bioinformatics, I will have to complete the degree, network and apply for jobs and work hard for it. Should I just slow down on masters and take the job or focus on the degree and go after bioinformatics. I am just having major issue with my SO because I cannot decide . Can somebody please guide me through this ? 😞
