This data scientist/machine learning scientist position is under the PI’s direct supervision. The programmer will be responsible for the processing, analysis, and modeling of large-scale and complex biological data. The programmer will have authorship in any publication resulting from these studies. This position offers a unique opportunity for career growth in bioinformatics and machine learning. The candidate will work on cutting-edge machine learning algorithms for computer vision and natural language processing. They will be expected to customize these algorithms for single-cell genomics data, and eventually, jointly with the PI, they will design and implement improved algorithms.
