They are seeking a highly motivated Senior Bioinformatics Scientist to join its advanced R&D group focusing on creating CMOS-based molecular diagnostics assays. The primary responsibilities include development and execution of robust methodologies for analyzing experimental data. Candidates should demonstrate the capability to operate independently, design and analyze complex experiments, and prepare rigorous technical reports.
Required Skills & Experience
- MS or PhD in Bioinformatics or related field
- At least two years of industry experience in the bioinformatics field
- Proficient in Python programming
- Hands-on experience in a Linux environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience implementing and maintaining bioinformatics pipelines
- In-depth knowledge in using various software tools and packages for genome frequency analysis and annotation
- Experience in PCR primer and probe design
