Assisting biologists and bioengineers this role enables building the necessary tools for meeting the new frontier of CRISPR-based therapeutics. Additionally, the role will build understanding and knowledge in data analysis and computational approaches by gaining insight into high-throughput molecular engineering approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with biologists and bioengineers in the development of tools that advance our therapeutic pipeline
- Assist in the analysis of transcriptional and other functional genomics datasets
- Assist with the generation of data visualisations for high-throughput and high-dimensional data
- Be trained in use and maintenance of the version-controlled code base
Required Skills and Background:
- Experience in handling and analyzing next generation sequencing data for genomics or other applications
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary research team
Preferred Skills and Background:
- Enrolled in a PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Systems Biology, Biophysics, Genomics or equivalent
- Basic familiarity with CRISPR technologies and therapeutic approaches
- Basic knowledge of next generation sequencing platforms and molecular biology of sample preparation
