Regional Centre for Biotechnology invites application for Project Research Associate position from eligible and interested candidates

About-  Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an institution of national importance and statutory body established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO as a Category II Centre. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world-class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high-quality human resources in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu. Project Research Associate position at RCB

Research/Job Area- Life Sciences

Location- BBB BioNest Incubator-NCR Biotech Science Cluster Faridabad-Haryana

Eligibility-

Age Limit: 36 Years as of 30.10.2021.

Essential Qualifications: PhD degree in the Life Sciences with minimum 60% marks in M.Sc. or equivalent degree. Demonstrated experience (substantiated by publication) in protein purification, crystallization and X-ray crystallography or CryoEM. One research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. 

Desirable Qualifications: Strong motivation for a research career. Experience in bacterial genetics and biochemical studies is desirable.

Title of Project: Structure and Mechanism of FleQ, a master regulator of transcription of flagellar and biofilm genes in Pseudomonas Aeruginosa.

Duration: Up to 14.03.2022.

Principal Investigator: Dr Deepti Jain, Associate Professor

No. of Position: One Emoluments: Depending on experience. As per the OM SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30.01.2019.
