ReStarting a career in Bioinformatics in US

Hello

I am an individual resident (with Green Card) in USA with post graduation in Bioinformatics. I had undertaken master degree in Bioinformatics in 2011 from one of the university in India. But I had a career gap of 9 yrs for family and children soon after that. I have started a course in RHIT certification in community college to improve my chances of getting a job. My question is what could be the prospect of getting a job in Bioinformatics in my case? Any course recommendations for a career reentry in bioinformatics?
