Job description:
DESY
DESY looks back on a long tradition in synchrotron radiation experiments in a wide range of applications and has developed into one of the leading international centers in this field. For high-end synchrotron radiation applications, the 3rd generation source PETRA III is available since 2009 as one of the most brilliant X-ray sources worldwide. The Swedish Materials Science beamline P21 at PETRA III is dediated to material characterization with multi-modal methodology using high energy X-ray diffraction and scattering methods. High energy X-rays exhibit high penetration into the sample and allow for complex sample environments and therefore have great potential for industrial applications.
