Research Assistant (1 year contract)

The successful candidate will provide research and administrative support for an ongoing research project by a SUSS faculty member examines the use of assistive technology for the elderly in Singapore. 

Job Description

Provide research support

  • Conduct literature review
  • Recruit participants for interviews
  • Assist with the running of interviews
  • Support both qualitative and quantitative research analyses
  • Assist with report writing

Administrative and technical support to research team

  • Monitor the project budget and expenses
  • Token management
  • Any additional project related duties assigned by PI and Co-PIs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s (with Honours) and above in the social or behavioural sciences
  • Some prior experience in administrative / research related work is useful
  • Good proficiency of the English Language (Spoken and Written)
  • Proficient with most word processing and spreadsheet software
  • Some experience with the use of any the following software: Qualtrics, RStudio, SPSS/PSPP, STATA, SAS, MAXQDA and/or nVivio
